Perhaps the oldest condiment used by man, sesame seeds have added a nutty taste to many dishes across the world. Sesame seeds have a mild, slightly sweet, nutty flavour and fresh aroma.
Great in both sweet and savoury dishes, and can be roasted and crushed to make tahini. Lightly toast in a dry pan and sprinkle over stirfry or salads. Also yummy sprinkled over bread dough before it goes in the oven.
